Our Inspirational Speaker
Pastor Tamar Gray is a Spirit-filled woman of God who has embraced the call to ministry as a way of life, no matter where it takes place. She believes that when the Lord invites her to be part of what He is doing, the answer is always yes. With that heart, she seeks to draw people of all ages and diverse backgrounds into a closer relationship with Jesus.
Tamar became the pastor of Grace Communion Cleveland on June 30, 2019. Prior to becoming pastor, she faithfully served in ministry for many years as an assistant pastor, women's ministry leader, speaker, and worship leader.
After a distinguished 35-year career teaching music in Cleveland Heights, she retired from the classroom, leaving behind a lasting legacy of inspiring and nurturing generations of students. In addition to her pastoral calling, Tamar also sings professionally with her husband, Leonard, in their band, Etiquette.
Tamar and Leonard are the proud parents of three sons—Morry (Rhea), Frank, and Kenny (Ashley). They are also blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
